Guia de idearias – Creative guide to youth employment
Gathering contributions from 58 people, the IDEARIA guide is a tool for sharing and reflecting on the experience of the IDEARIA project, which sought in an innovative way to enhance personal talents, develop social skills, and provide technical tools that enable young people to successfully face the challenges of the labour market.
The IDEARIA project has dedicated its effort on young people and local organisations, seeking to better understand what they feel, how they experience the precariousness of their professional life and its impact to other spheres of life; the difficulties in finding work and the develop the skills (or experience that is required when there are few opportunities to acquire it); the risks they take when they set out as liberal professionals or creators of economic micro-initiatives.
The chapter 4 of this guide contains the worksheets developed for promoting employability skills for young people, which are also relevant for their personal fulfilment.
