Mentoring code of ethics and good conduct

The Code of Ethics and Good Conduct (CEGC) of the Associação Portuguesa de Mentoring (APMENTOR) guides the actions of its members, establishing guidelines on ethics and professional conduct for those who carry out the activity of mentoring. The purpose of the CEGC is to consolidate the guiding principles for the ethical profile of mentors by establishing the criteria for professional conduct and ensuring the accountability and commitment of the interlocutors who, within the scope of the organisation’s activity, promote the consolidation of the ethical character underlying the activity of the Mentors, not only among themselves but, above all, in the relationship with the Mentees and with the society.
