SAGAZ – Master and Apprentice mentoring programme
SAGAZ is a programme to bring young people, who have finished the 12th grade, closer to companies. It is developed by Alento, a human resource management and consultancy company.
SAGAZ ensures that the young person have a Mentor appointed by a company to accompany him/her throughout his/her academic career, in a culture of work integration and preferably as a bridge with the curricular plan of the course he/she is attending.
Whenever possible, businesses will provide input to the curricular plans of its Apprentices, who will have the opportunity to attend several internships in their Master’s company, in roles related to the subject they are studying.
SAGAZ intends to retrieve the spirit of the Master and the Apprentice relationship. The Master will give advice to his Apprentice so that he/she fulfils its potential, in the different aspects of his/her life, guiding him/her in his/her training, recreational, cultural, academic, social and professional path.
The young person gains the unique opportunity for guidance and the businessperson gains a professional tailored to their company.
ALENTO also provides the Apprentices with a career management programme and a product called “Kit-Emprega-Te”, which contains 9 employability tools.
