Interview on the impact of mentoring on young people’s career development

Discussion about experiences in different mentoring programmes, mutual learning as mentor and mentee and the main contributions of mentoring to improving the employability of young people: self-knowledge, contextual intelligence, meta-competential development, expectation management, breaking with limiting beliefs.

Several participants shared the changes they had experienced throughout the mentoring process, as well as what it had meant for them to participate in this initiative of the Princess of Girona Foundation. They also talked about what mentoring teaches us as a society, the values it exemplifies, the importance of the intergenerational pact between senior talent and young talent, diversity, generosity and mutual learning.
