Mentoring Handbook

Mentoring, and specifically, mentoring processes at university level, constitute an effective innovative tool to meet the support and guidance needs of university students.

The methodology used in EKS Mentoring is based on b-mentoring (blended mentoring), in which a mentor, a student or graduate of the programme, mentors a student (mentoree) using technological ecosystem tools to communicate and in some cases scheduled personal meetings.

In addition to this, the mentoring process seeks to strengthen and enhance the development of professional competences (skills, attitudes and aptitudes) of the students of the Doctorate in Training in the Knowledge Society for future career plans and the development of professional skills.

This manual covers the phases of the mentoring process, the participating profiles, skills and benefits of the participation.
