Supporting the Transition from Education to Employment of Youth at Risk – STEER

The main objective of the STEER project was to design, deliver and test a comprehensive training programme for youth workers in transition planning. The acquired knowledge that youth workers received from the training programme was used to support NEET and young unemployed to the transition from education to employment.

The STEER project involved, among others, the following activities:
– Designing and developing of a training programme from youth workers,
– Delivering of train-the-trainers seminars,
– Pilot testing of STEER training programme, which involved the trained youth workers providing support to 900 NEET and young unemployed within a four-month period from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Greece and Italy.

The outputs of the project included the development of an e-training platform and e-portal, training manuals and guides for trainers and trainees in the languages of the project, investigation reports and a training and youthpass certification framework report.
